Vehicle Diagnostics

The increased use of electronic components, sensors and ECU’s (“Computers” as they are commonly called) within vehicle electrical systems, has prompted the computer aided diagnosis of faults and errors. Most modern vehicles are equipped with ODB II diagnostic adapters and warning indicators on the dashboard, to indicate when a component is defective. We use state of the art diagnostic equipment and experience to assess what has gone wrong. Our diagnostic teams are well- trained, and we constantly upgrade our equipment to ensure that we can solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Auto Electrical

We offer auto electrical repair and maintenance at our workshop. A dead battery, starter or alternator could all be symptoms that your vehicle’s electrical system is problematic. The electrical system in a vehicle operates with a wide range of components including the wiring and circuits, charging and starting system, mirrors and windows, lights and so much more. Our technician is trained and qualified for a variety of your auto electrical needs. We use advanced electrical diagnostic equipment to locate and fix your problem and get your car back on the road.

Your vehicle’s brakes are a critical safety item and the regular maintenance thereof is non-negotiable. The increase in braking distance and possible failure due to worn components is dangerous and the consequences can be dire. We offer a complete range of brake component replacement services, including:

  • Replacement of disc pads
  • Replacement of brake discs
  • Replacement of brake shoes
  • Replacement of cables and sensors
  • Repairs to hydraulic systems
  • Replacement of hydraulic components
  • Skimming of brake discs Repairs

Driveline and Transmission

The drive train connects your vehicle’s engine to the wheels and supplies the power to move forward. These components are subject to excessive forces as modern cars have increased power and torque which causes component failures due to wear & tear.

Clutch unit replacement

We offer replacement of all clutch components including hydraulic components, clutch assembles & skimming of flywheels. We use quality components.

CV Joints / Prop shaft repairs

We offer replacement of all constant velocity joints (CV joint as they are commonly known) and prop shaft / driveshaft components.

Wheel bearing replacement

We offer replacement of all types of bearings and ABS components including sensors and hub units.

Engine Overhaul

Your vehicle’s engine is a critical area but sometimes due to component failure and wear & tear, it will require maintenance & related repairs. Here are some of the services we offer:

Timing Belt / Chain replacement

The timing belt (or cambelt as it is popularly known) is a major component in the engine and needs to be replaced as per the manufacturer’s service intervals. The failure of this component translates into damage of various components which can be very costly to repair.

Engine Overhauls and Rebuilds

We offer complete and minor engine overhauls and rebuilds, using quality components in your vehicle.

Regular & Major Car Service

Regular maintenance ensures longevity of major components of your vehicle. Mandatory maintenance items include filters and lubricants that have a limited lifespan and therefore need to be replaced every 10,000 km on a diesel and 15,000km on a petrol vehicle OR 12 months to limit costly repairs caused by excessive wear and tear. We only use quality replacement parts.

Regular & Major service intervals

This is based on the Manufacturers Specification for your vehicle.

As a Guideline:

  • Petrol Vehicles every 15,000 km’s or 12 Months
  • Diesel Vehicles every 10,000km’s or 12 Months
  • Regular Service:
  • Replace engine oil
  • Replace Oil Filter
  • Replace Air Filter if Required
  • Inspect bulbs
  • Inspect & report all fluids & oils
  • Complementary wash & vacuum
  • 50 point assessment & fault report
  • Major Service (typically 30,000km intervals)
  • Replace engine oil
  • Replace oil filter
  • Replace fuel filter
  • Replace air filter
  • Replace spark plugs (Where required)
  • Inspect bulbs
  • Inspect & report all fluids & oils
  • 50 point assessment & fault report
  • 50 Point check

On both the service schedules we also include a 50 point check where we inspect and/or adjust components and furnish you with a fault report on any defects we might find as listed below:

  • Engine bay components
  • Front & Rear brakes
  • Front & Rear suspension
  • Steering system
  • Cooling system
  • Ignition system
  • Diagnostics Report
  • Safety Components
  • Battery & electrical system
  • Drivetrain components
  • Motor Lubrication Products | Motor Oil Products

Engine oil and lubrication additives have become more sophisticated in their design and they not only help with lubricating of an engine, but they now also work in assisting with a vehicle’s road performance. Because your engine is made up of a complex system of moving parts, this tends to cause a lot of friction and wear and tear to the engine. By taking care of your engine with the right motor oils and lubricants you help reduce the adverse effects that this would have on the engine.
